حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ زَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَاعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَتَابَعَهُ أَيُّوبُ وَعَوْفٌ وَقَالَ صَخْرٌ وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ نَجِيحٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Al Walid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Salm bin Zarir] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Raja`] dari ['Imran bin Hushain] radliallahu 'anhuma dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam beliau bersabda: "Aku pernah menengok ke surga, ternyata kebanyakan penghuninya adalah orang-orang miskin, dan aku juga menengok ke neraka, ternyata kebanyakan penghuninya adalah kaum wanita." Diperkuat juga oleh [Ayyub] dan ['Auf]. [Shakhr] dan [Hammad bin Najih] mengatakan; dari [Abu Raja`] dari [Ibnu Abbas].

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
