حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ فَيُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ فَيَقِفُ عَلَى رِجْلَيْهِ فَيَسْتَقْبِلُ النَّاسَ وَهُمْ جُلُوسٌ فَيَقُولُ تَصَدَّقُوا تَصَدَّقُوا فَأَكْثَرُ مَنْ يَتَصَدَّقُ النِّسَاءُ بِالْقُرْطِ وَالْخَاتَمِ وَالشَّيْءِ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ حَاجَةٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ بَعْثًا يَذْكُرُهُ لَهُمْ وَإِلَّا انْصَرَفَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Kuraib] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Dawud bin Qais] dari ['Iyadh bin Abdullah] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] ia berkata, "Pada hari ied Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam keluar dan shalat dua raka'at bersama manusia kemudian salam. Setelah itu beliau berdiri di atas kedua kakinya, beliau menghadap ke arah manusia yang sedang duduk seraya bersabda: "Bersedekahlah kalian, bersedekahlah kalian, bersedekahlah kalian, " maka yang paling banyak bersedekah adalah kaum wanita, dengan anting, cincin dan sesuatu. " Jika ada suatu keperluan untuk mengirim pasukan, beliau menyebutkannya kepada mereka, dan jika tidak maka beliau langsung pergi berlalu. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
