حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أَبِي جَنَابٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ وَلَا هَامَةَ فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ الْبَعِيرُ يَكُونُ بِهِ الْجَرَبُ فَتَجْرَبُ بِهِ الْإِبِلُ قَالَ ذَلِكَ الْقَدَرُ فَمَنْ أَجْرَبَ الْأَوَّلَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Abu Janab] dari [Ayahnya] dari [Ibnu Umar] dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidak ada 'Adwa, tidak ada Thiyarah dan tidak ada Hammah." Lalu ada salah seorang laki-laki berdiri menghampiri beliau sambil berkata, 'Wahai Rasulullah, unta betina telah menderita penyakit gatal, lalu ia menularkan kepada yang lain?" Beliau menjawab: "Itu adalah takdir, lalu siapakah yang pertama kali menciptakan penyakit gatal?"

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
