حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَكَانَ بِلَالٌ لَا يُؤَخِّرُ الْأَذَانَ عَنْ الْوَقْتِ وَرُبَّمَا أَخَّرَ الْإِقَامَةَ شَيْئًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Dawud] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syarik] dari [Simak bin Harb] dari [Jabir bin Samurah] ia berkata; "Bilal adalah orang yang tidak mengakhirkan adzan dari waktunya, dan terkadang dia mengakhirkan iqamah beberapa saat."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
