حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا هَامَةَ وَلَا نَوْءَ وَلَا صَفَرَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Ayyub] dan [Qutaibah] serta [Ibnu Hujr] mereka berkata; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il] yaitu Ibnu Ja'far dari [Al 'Ala] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Abu Hurairah] Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidak ada penyakit yang menular secara sendirian tanpa izin Allah, tidak ada mayat yang bergentayangan, tidak ada bintang tertentu (penyebab turunnya hujan) dan tidak ada kematian di karenakan penyakit cacing perut.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
