أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Amru bin Manshur] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Fadll bin Dukain] dari [Syarik] dari [Ammar Ad Duhni] dari [Abu Az Zubair] dari [Jabir] ia berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam masuk -Kota Makkah- saat pembukaan Kota Makkah dengan memakai surban hitam."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
