حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُزَاحِمُ بْنُ ذَوَّادِ بْنِ عُلْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُخْتَلِعَاتُ هُنَّ الْمُنَافِقَاتُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَلَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِالْقَوِيِّ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ بَأْسٍ لَمْ تَرِحْ رَائِحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Kuraib] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muzahim bin Dzawwad bin 'Ulbah] dari [ayahnya] dari [Laits] dari [Abu Al Khaththab] dari [Abu Zur'ah] dari [Abu Idris] dari [Tsauban] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Para wanita yang mengajukan gugatan cerai adalah wanita munafik." Abu Isa berkata; Hadits ini gharib dari jalur ini dan sanadnya tidak kuat. Diriwayatkan dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bahwa beliau bersabda: "Wanita mana pun yang mengajukan gugatan cerai kepada suaminya tanpa sebab, maka ia tidak akan mencium bau surga."

Imam at-Tirmidhi was a student of Imam al-Bukhari and Abu Dawud. His collection is distinctive for including the grading (hasan, sahih, da'if) of each hadith alongside notes on which madhab (legal school) relies on it — making it both a hadith collection and a work of hadith criticism.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi is the only collection in the Kutub al-Sittah where the compiler grades every hadith himself, notes scholarly differences, and indicates legal usage.
