حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدَعُ أَنْ يَسْتَلِمَ الرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ وَالْحَجَرَ فِي كُلِّ طَوْفَةٍقَالَ وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُهُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada Kami [Musaddad], telah menceritakan kepada Kami [Yahya] dari [Abdul 'Aziz bin Abu Rawwad] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar], ia berkata; Rasulullah shallAllahu wa'alaihi wa sallam tidak meninggalkan untuk mengusap rukun yamani dan hajar aswad pada setiap thawaf. Nafi' berkata; dan Abdullah bin Umar melakukan hal tersebut.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
