حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَطَّابُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ أَنْ يُجْمَعَ بَيْنَ الْعَمَّةِ وَالْخَالَةِ وَبَيْنَ الْخَالَتَيْنِ وَالْعَمَّتَيْنِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Muhammad An Nufaili], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Khaththab bin Al Qasim], dari [Khushaif] dari [Ikrimah] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bahwa beliau tidak menyukai untuk menggabungkan (dalam satu perkawinan) antara seorang bibi (dari pihak bapak) dengan bibi (dari pihak ibu), serta antara dua bibi (dari pihak ibu) dengan dua bibi (dari pihak ayah).

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
