حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ قَالَ هِشَامٌالْعِرْقُ الظَّالِمُ أَنْ يَغْرِسَ الرَّجُلُ فِي أَرْضِ غَيْرِهِ فَيَسْتَحِقَّهَا بِذَلِكَقَالَ مَالِكٌ وَالْعِرْقُ الظَّالِمُ كُلُّ مَا أُخِذَ وَاحْتُفِرَ وَغُرِسَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin 'Amr bin As Sarh], telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb], telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Malik], ia berkata; [Hisyam]; keringat yang zhalim adalah seorang laki-laki menanamdi lahan orang lain kemudian orang lain tersebut memilikinya karena sebab tersebut. Malik berkata; dan keringat zhalim adalah setiap apa yang diambil dan digali serta ditanam dengan tanpa hak.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
