حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَقَ قَالَالْعَرَايَا أَنْ يَهَبَ الرَّجُلُ لِلرَّجُلِ النَّخَلَاتِ فَيَشُقُّ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَقُومَ عَلَيْهَا فَيَبِيعُهَا بِمِثْلِ خَرْصِهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hannad bin As Sari] dari [Abdah] dari [Ibnu Ishaq] ia berkata; 'araya adalah seseorang memberikan beberapa pohon kurma kepada seseorang, kemudian orang-orang tersebut merasa terganggu dengan apa yang dilakukan orang yang diberi tersebut terhadap beberapa pohon kurma tersebut, kemudian ia membelinya dengan seukuran penaksiran buah yang ada di pohon tersebut.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
