حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عُمَرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ السَّيَّارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَعَنْ الثُّنْيَا إِلَّا أَنْ يُعْلَمَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Hafsh Umar bin Yazid? As Sayyari], telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abbad bin Al 'Awwam], dari [Sufyan bin Husain], dari [Yunus bin 'Ubaid] dari ['Atha`] dari [Jabir bin Abdullah], ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang muzabanah (menjual kurma kering dengan ruthab, dan menjual anggur dengan kismis secara takaran), dan muhaqalah (menjual gandum dalam bulirnya dengan gandum yang bersih) serta tsunya (mengecualikan sesuatu dalam jual beli) kecuali apabila diketahui.

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
