حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَصَبَّحَ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتٍ عَجْوَةٍ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ سَمٌّ وَلَا سِحْرٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hasyim bin Hasyim] dari ['Amir bin Sa'd bin Abu Waqqash] dari [Ayahnya] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Barangsiapa pada pagi hari makan tujuh butir kurma 'ajwah, maka pada hari itu ia tidak akan terkena racun dan sihir."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
