حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ النَّحْوِيِّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصَابِعَ الْيَدَيْنِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ سَوَاءً
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Umar bin Muhammad bin Aban] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Tumailah] dari [Husain Al Muallim] dari [Yazid An Nahwi] dari [Ikrimah] dari [Ibnu Abbas] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menjadikan diyat kedua tangan dan kedua kaki sama."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
