حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَمْرُقُ مَارِقَةٌ عِنْدَ فُرْقَةٍ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَقْتُلُهَا أَوْلَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ بِالْحَقِّ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muslim bin Ibrahim] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Qasim Ibnul Fadhl] dari [Abu Nadhrah] dari [Abu Sa'id] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Akan ada sekelompok orang dari kaum muslimin keluar dengan cepat saat terjadi perpecahan, dan mereka akan dibunuh oleh kelompok yang lebih berhak dengan kebenaran di antara dua kelompok yang ada."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
