حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَسَنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍوعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أُرِيدَ مَالُهُ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ فَقَاتَلَ فَقُتِلَ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musaddad] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya] dari [Sufyan] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku [Abdullah bin Hasan] ia berkata; telah menceritakan kepadaku pamanku [Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Thalhah] dari [Abdullah bin Amru] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Siapa yang hartanya akan dirampas tanpa hak, lalu ia melawan dan terbunuh maka ia syahid."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
