حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ الْأَشْعَثِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْتِفَاتِ الرَّجُلِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ اخْتِلَاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَبْدِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Musaddad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Al Ahwash] dari [Al Asy'ats yaitu Ibnu Sulaim] dari [ayahnya] dari [Masruq] dari [Aisyah radliallahu 'anha] dia berkata; aku bertanya kepada Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam perihal menolehnya seseorang dalam shalatnya, beliau menjawab: "Itu merupakan suatu bentuk perampasaan yang di kerjakan syetan terhadap shalat seorang hamba."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
