حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْحُومٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْحُبْوَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin 'Auf] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Muqri`] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sa'id bin Abu Ayyub] dari [Abu Marhum] dari [Sahl bin Mu'adz bin Anas] dari [ayahnya] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang duduk bertekuk lutut ketika imam berkhutbah pada hari Jum'at."

Imam Abu Dawud compiled Sunan Abu Dawud from approximately 500,000 hadiths, selecting 5,274. His collection is particularly focused on fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and legal rulings. He personally wrote to Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal informing him of the work, and received his approval.
Abu Dawud said: 'I wrote 500,000 hadiths of the Prophet ﷺ, then selected this book from them.' He focused especially on rulings related to halal and haram.
