حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَوَنَحَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ سَبْعَ بُدْنٍ قِيَامًا وَضَحَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ كَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ مُخْتَصَرًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sahal bin Bakar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Wuhaib] dari [Ayyub] dari [Abu Qalabah] dari [Anas] lalu menyebutkan hadits, katanya: "Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam menyembelih tujuh ekor unta dengan tangannya sendiri dalam keadaan berdiri dan di Madinah Beliau berqurban dua ekor kambing yang gemuk dan bertanduk pendek.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
