حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسْأَلُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِمِنًى فَيَقُولُ لَا حَرَجَ فَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ حَلَقْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَ قَالَ اذْبَحْ وَلَا حَرَجَ وَقَالَ رَمَيْتُ بَعْدَ مَا أَمْسَيْتُ فَقَالَ لَا حَرَجَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ali bin 'Abdullah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid bin Zurai'] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Khalid] dari ['Ikrimah] dari [Ibnu 'Abbas radliallahu 'anhuma] berkata: Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam ditanya pada hari Nahar di Mina, Beliau menjawab: "Tidak dosa". Ada seorang yang bertanya: "Aku mencukur rambut sebelum aku menyembelih hewan qurban?". Beliau menjawab: "Sembelihlah dan tidak dosa". Dan ada yang bertanya: "Aku melempar jumrah setelah sore". Beliau menjawab: "Tidak dosa".

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
