حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمُتَعَالِ بْنُ طَالِبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدَّثَهُعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ وَالْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ وَرَقَدَ رَقْدَةً بِالْمُحَصَّبِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ فَطَافَ بِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Abdul Muta'al bin Tholib] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepada saya ['Amru bin Al Harits] bahwa [Qatadah] menceritakan kepadanya bahwa [Anas bin Malik radliallahu 'anhu] menceritakan kepadanya bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melaksanakan shalat Zhuhur, 'Ashar, Maghrib dan 'Isya' kemudian Beliau tidur sejenak di Al Muhashib (tempat melempar jumrah di Mina), lalu Beliau menunggang tunggangannya menuju ke Ka'bah Baitullah lalu thawaf disana".

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
