حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَحَجَمَ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعٍ أَوْ صَاعَيْنِ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَكَلَّمَ مَوَالِيَهُ فَخَفَّفَ عَنْ غَلَّتِهِ أَوْ ضَرِيبَتِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Yusuf] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Humaid Ath-Thowil] dari [Anas bin Malik radliallahu 'anhu] berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah dibekam oleh Abu Thoyyibah lalu Beliau memberi upah kepadanya dengan satu sha' atau dua sha' makanan dan berbicara kepada penarik pajaknya untuk meringankan pajaknya.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
