حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَذُكِرَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ نَامَ لَيْلَهُ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ قَالَ ذَاكَ رَجُلٌ بَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي أُذُنِهِ
English Translation
Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Utsman bin Abu Syaibah] telah bercerita kepada kami [Jarir] dari [Manshur] dari [Abu Wa'il] dari ['Abdullah radliallahu 'anhu] berkata; "Dilaporkan kepada Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam seseorang yang tertidur melewati malamnya hingga pagi, maka Beliau bersabda: "Itulah orang yang dikencingi syaitan pada kedua telinganya", atau dia berkata: "pada telinganya".

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
