حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَاأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ خَمْسٌ مِنْ الدَّوَابِّ مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ الْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ
English Translation
Telah bercerita kepada kami ['Abdullah bin Maslamah] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Malik] dari ['Abdullah bin Dinar] dari ['Abdullah bin 'Umar radliallahu 'anhuma] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Ada lima jenis hewan melata yang siapa membunuhnya tidak berdosa sekalipun sedang ihram, yaitu kalajengking, tikus, anjing galak, burung gagak dan burung rajawali".

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
