حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Yusuf] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Malik] dari ['Amru] mantan budak Al Mutthalib, dari [Anas bin Malik] radliallahu 'anhu, bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menengol kea radliallahu 'anha bukit Uhud, lalu beliau bersabda: "Ini adalah gunung yang mencintai kami, dan kami pun mencintainya, ya Allah sesungguhnya Ibrahim telah mensucikan kota Makkah, dan akupun mensucikan kota yang berada diantara dua batu hitam (yaitu Madinah)."

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
