حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ{ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ }
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Ma'mar] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Warits] dari [Abdul Aziz] dari [Anas] dia berkata; Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam berdo'a; "RABBANAA AATINA FID DUNYA HASANATAN WA FIL AKHIRATI HASANAH WAQIAN ADZABAN NAAR (Ya Allah berilah kami kebaikan di dunia dan di akhirat, dan lindungilah kami dari adzab neraka)."

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
