حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَاأُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ{ لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمْ اللَّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ }فِي قَوْلِ الرَّجُلِ لَا وَاللَّهِ وَبَلَى وَاللَّهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ali bin Salamah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik bin Su'air] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam] dari [Bapaknya] dari ['Aisyah radliallahu 'anha] Ayat ini: Allah tidak menghukum kamu disebabkan sumpah-sumpahmu yang tidak dimaksud (untuk bersumpah), tetapi Dia menghukum kamu disebabkan sumpah-sumpah yang kamu sengaja.. (Al Maidah: 79), diturunkan berkenaan dengan perkataan seseorang: Tidak demi Allah, iya demi Allah.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
