حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْعَوَّامِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مُجَاهِدًا عَنْ السَّجْدَةِ فِي ص قَالَ سُئِلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ{ أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَى اللَّهُ فَبِهُدَاهُمْ اقْتَدِهْ }وَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basyar] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Gundar] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Al 'Awwam] dia berkata; Aku bertanya kepada [Mujahid] mengenai ayat sajdah di dalam surat Shaad, lalu ia berkata; [Ibnu 'Abbas] ditanya tentang hal itu lalu ia menjawab; "Mereka itulah orang-orang yang telah diberi petunjuk oleh Allah, maka ikutilah petunjuk mereka." (Al 'An'am: 90). Dan Ibnu Abbas sujud pada ayat itu.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
