حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ صُهْبَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيِّإِنِّي مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ الشَّجَرَةَ نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْخَذْفِوَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ صُهْبَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ الْمُزَنِيَّفِي الْبَوْلِ فِي الْمُغْتَسَلِ يَأْخُذُ مِنْهُ الْوَسْوَاسُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Abdullah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syababah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Qatadah] dia berkata; Aku mendengar ['Uqbah bin Shahban] dari [Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al Muzani], Sesungguhnya aku termasuk orang yang menghadiri peristiwa bai'atur Ridwan. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang melempar buruan dengan batu. Dan dari Uqbah bin Shahban dia berkata; Aku mendengar Abdullah bin Mughaffal Al Muzani berkata mengenai kencing ditempat pemandian menyebabkan rasa was-was.

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
