حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْمَا صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً بَعْدَ أَنْ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ إِلَّا يَقُولُ فِيهَا سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Hasan bin Ar Rabi'] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Al Ahwash] dari [Al A'masy] dari [Abu Dluha] dari [Masruq] dari [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha, ia berkata; Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tidak shalat setelah turunnya ayat, "IDZAA JAA`A NASHRULLAHI WAL FATH." Kecuali di dalam shalatnya membaca: "SUBHAANAKA RABBANAA WA BIHAMDIKA ALLAHUMMAGH FIRLII (Maha Suci Engkau, wahai Rabb kami, dan segala puji bagi-Mu. Ya Allah ampunilah aku)."

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
