حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِتَابَعَهُ يُونُسُ وَمَعْمَرٌ وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَالْمَاجِشُونُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Yusuf] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Malik] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] dari [Abu Tsa'labah] radliallahu 'anhu bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang makan daging binatang buas yang bertaring." Hadits ini juga dikuatkan oleh riwayat [Yunus], [Ma'mar], [Ibnu 'Uyainah] dan [Al Majisyun] dari [Az Zuhri].

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
