حَدَّثَنَا بَدَلُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَكَانَ رُكُوعُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسُجُودُهُ وَبَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ مَا خَلَا الْقِيَامَ وَالْقُعُودَ قَرِيبًا مِنْ السَّوَاءِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Badal bin Al Muhabbar] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Al Hakam] dari [Ibnu Abu Laila] dari [Al Bara'] berkata, "Rukuk Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, sujudnya, (duduk) antara dua sujud, dan ketika mengangkat kepala dari rukuk, tidaklah berbeda antara berdiri (i'tidal) dan duduknya melainkan semuanya sama (dalam thu'maninah)."

Imam al-Bukhari dedicated 16 years to compiling Sahih al-Bukhari, selecting approximately 7,275 hadiths from over 600,000 narrations he examined. His strict conditions for accepting a hadith — requiring narrator continuity, reliable memory, and confirmed meeting between narrators — make it the most rigorously authenticated hadith collection in Islamic scholarship.
Imam al-Bukhari would perform ghusl and pray two rak'ahs before recording each hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is universally regarded as the most authentic book after the Quran.
