حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُوسُفَ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الرَّقِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً يَقْصُرُ الصَّلَاةَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Yusuf Ash Shaidalani Muhammad bin Ahmad Ar Raqqi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Salamah] dari [Muhammad bin Ishaq] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Utbah] dari [Ibnu Abbas] berkata, "Pada tahun pembukaan Makkah Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menetap di sana selama lima belas hari, dan beliau selalu menqashar shalat. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
