    حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ وَهَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشُةُيَا عُرْوَةُ كَانَ أَبَوَاكَ مِنْ الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ الْقَرْحُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَالزُّبَيْرُ

    English Translation

    Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] dan [Hadiyah bin Abdul Wahhab] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin Uyainah] dari [Hisyam bin Urwah] dari [Bapaknya] ia berkata; [Aisyah] berkata; "Wahai Urwah, kedua orang tuamu termasuk orang yang menjawab seruan Allah dan Rasul setelah tertimpa luka; yaitu Abu Bakar dan Zubair."

    Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.

    Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
