حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الزُّرَقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَى الْعِيدِ رَجَعَ فِي غَيْرِ الطَّرِيقِ الَّذِي أَخَذَ فِيهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Humaid] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Tumailah] dari [Fulaih bin Sulaim] dari [Sa'id bin Al Harits Az Zuraqi] dari [Abu Hurairah] berkata, "Jika Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam keluar menuju shalat ied, maka beliau kembali pulang dengan jalur lain. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
