حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَثَّامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ هَانِيءٍ قَالَدَخَلَ عَمَّارٌ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ فَقَالَ مَرْحَبًا بِالطَّيِّبِ الْمُطَيَّبِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مُلِئَ عَمَّارٌ إِيمَانًا إِلَى مُشَاشِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Atstsam bin Ali] dari [Al A'masy] dari [Abu Ishaq] dari [Hani` bin Hani`] ia berkata; "'Ammar masuk menemui Ali. Maka [Ali] pun berkata: "Selamat datang kepada orang yang baik lagi yang berlaku baik. Aku telah mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Sungguh, 'Ammar telah dipenuhi keimanan hingga ke relung jiwanya."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
