حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَنْ أَمِّ سَلَمَةَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَسْرُ عَظْمِ الْمَيِّتِ كَكَسْرِ عَظْمِ الْحَيِّ فِي الْإِثْمِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ma'mar] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Bakr] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Ziyad] berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Abu Ubaidah bin Abdullah bin Zam'ah] dari [Ibunya] dari [Ummu Salamah] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Dosa memecahkan tulang mayit sama dengan dosa memecahkan tulang orang hidup. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
