حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَمَا صُمْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْنَا ثَلَاثِينَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mujahid bin Musa] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Qasim bin Malik Al Muzani] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Jurairi] dari [Abu Nadlrah] dari [Abu Hurairah] ia berkata, "Pada masa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, kami lebih banyak berpuasa selama dua puluh sembilan hari dari pada kami berpuasa selama tiga puluh hari. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
