حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَالْحَسَنِ ابْنَيْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Yahya] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bisyr bin Umar] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Malik bin Anas] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Abdullah] dan [Al Hasan] -keduanya anak Muhammad bin Ali- dari [Bapak keduanya] dari [Ali bin Abu Thalib] berkata, "Pada perang Khaibar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang untuk menikahi wanita dengan cara mut'ah (kawin kontrak) dan makan daging himar yang dipelihara."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
