حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعْدٍ قَالَحَلَفْتُ بِاللَّاتِ وَالْعُزَّى فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ثُمَّ انْفُثْ عَنْ يَسَارِكَ ثَلَاثًا وَتَعَوَّذْ وَلَا تَعُدْ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] dan [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Adam] dari [Isra`il] dari [Abu Ishaq] dari [Mush'ab bin Sa'd] dari [Sa'd] ia berkata, "Aku telah bersumpah dengan nama lata dan uzza! " Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Ucapkanlah, 'Tidak ada Tuhan yang berhak di sembah selain Allah, yang tidak ada sekutu bagi-Nya'. Kemudian tiupkan ke sebelah kirimu tiga kali, dan berlindunglah serta jangan kamu ulangi."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
