حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَسُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فَضَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ كَسْرِ سِكَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَائِزَةِ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا مِنْ بَأْسٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] dan [Suwaid bin Sa'id] dan [Harun bin Ishaq] mereka berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Mu'tamir bin Sulaiman] dari [Muhammad bin Fadla] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Alqamah bin Abdullah] dari [Bapaknya] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melarang memecah mata uang kaum muslimin yang tersedia di antara mereka kecuali karena bahaya."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
