حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَلَقَدْ رَهَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دِرْعَهُ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَأَخَذَ لِأَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ شَعِيرًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Bapakku] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam] dari [Qatadah] dari [Anas] ia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah menggadaikan baju perangnya kepada seorang yahudi di Madinah, lalu beliau meminta gandum dari yahudi tersebut untuk diberikan kepada keluarganya."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
