حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا دَيْلَمُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَحَضَرْتُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ يَا نَفْسِأَلَا أَرَاكِ تَكْرَهِينَ الْجَنَّهْأَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَتَنْزِلِنَّهْطَائِعَةً أَوْ لَتُكْرَهِنَّهْ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syabah], telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Affan], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Dailam bin Ghazwan], telah menceritakan kepada kami [Tsabit] dari [Anas bin Malik], ia berkata; "Aku ikut berperang lalu Abdullah bin Rawahah berkata; "Wahai Jiwa! Ingatlah aku melihat dirimu membenci surga, aku bersumpah demi Allah engkau pasti akan turun ke dalam peperangan secara sukarela atau dipaksakan."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
