حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ جِهَادٌ قَالَ نَعَمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ جِهَادٌ لَا قِتَالَ فِيهِ الْحَجُّ وَالْعُمْرَةُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah]; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Fudlail] dari [Habib bin Abi Amrah] dari [Aisyah binti Thalhah] dari [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha, ia berkata; "Aku berkata; 'Wahai Rasulullah, apakah jihad juga wajib bagi wanita? ' Beliau menjawab: 'Ya. Bagi kaum wanita mempunyai kewajiban berjihad tanpa berperang, yaitu (jihad) haji dan umrah'."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
