حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْنُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ يَأْمُرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah]; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdah bin Sulaiman] dari [Ubaidullah] dari [Abdurrahman bin Al Qasim] dari [Ayahnya] dari [Aisyah] radliallahu 'anha, ia berkata; " Asma binti Umais mengalami nifas (melahirkan anak) di bawah sebuah pohon, maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memerintahkan Abu Bakar agar menyuruhnya mandi dan bertalbiyah (berniat haji dan umrah)."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
