حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ الْفُوَيْسِقَةُ
English Translation
Telah memberitakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin 'Amru bin As Sarh] telah memberitakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Wahb] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari ['Urwah bin Az Zubair] dari [Aisyah], bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menyebut cicak sebagai binatang yang merusak."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
