حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا وُضِعَ الطَّعَامُ فَخُذُوا مِنْ حَافَتِهِ وَذَرُوا وَسَطَهُ فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسَطِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Mundzir] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Fudlail] telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Atha bin As Sa`ib] dari [Sa'id bin Jubair] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam: "Apabila makanan telah di hidangkan maka ambillah dari pinggirnya dan tinggalkan tengahnya, sesungguhnya barakah itu turun di bagian tengahnya."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
