حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيَّ يَقُولُكُنَّا نَأْكُلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْخُبْزَ وَاللَّحْمَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ya'qub bin Humaid bin Kasib] dan [Harmalah bin Yahya] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Wahb] telah memberitakan kepadaku ['Amru bin Al Harits] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Sulaiman bin Ziyad Al Hadlrami] bahwa dia mendengar [Abdullah bin Al Harits bin Juz` Az Zubaidi] dia berkata, "Pada masa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kami pernah makan roti dan daging di dalam masjid."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
