حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْخَلَّالُ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجُهَنِيُّ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي مَشْجَعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَيِّدُ طَعَامِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا وَأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ اللَّحْمُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Abbas bin Al Walid Al Khallal Ad Dimasyqi] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Shalih] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Sulaiman bin 'Atha Al Jazari] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Maslamah bin Abdullah Al Juhani] dari pamannya [Abu Masyja'ah] dari [Abu Darda] dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Makanan istimewa penduduk dunia dan penduduk surga adalah daging."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
