حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَبُولُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Sa'id] dan [Husain bin Abu Sarri Al 'Asqalani] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Dawud] dari [Sufyan] dari [Adl Dlahak bin Utsman] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] ia berkata; "Seorang lelaki melewati Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam ketika beliau kencing, kemudian ia mengucapkan salam kepadanya, namun beliau tidak menjawabnya."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
